PACIFIC CREST EXCAVATION & TRACTOR SERVICES LLC

March 2021

TractorAfter the devastating fires in Southern Oregon last year, fire prevention is on everyone’s minds. On an individual level, making sure one’s house, and especially the yard, is not a walking fire hazard helps with the peace of mind.
In that regard, Pacific Crest Excavation & Tractor Services LLC, based in Grants Pass, is there to help. The company began three years ago as a collaborative effort between Ryan Webb and Cheryl Bright.

“We are a full service company, and the excavation includes trenching, roads, pads, land clearing, ponds and more,” Ryan said. “The tractor work includes blackberry removal, field mowing, field prep plowing, discing and tilling. Our dump trailer allows us to haul material (dirt, rock, bark, etc.), hard scraping, landscaping, and a row machine. We are licensed, bonded and insured (CCB #233092).”

Ryan has lived and worked in the Rogue Valley all his life, as does all his family. Cheryl’s husband worked in the motion picture business and worked on a movie filmed here in the Rogue Valley. He fell in love with Grants Pass and when he was able to retire 20 years ago, he and Cheryl moved here and built their dream house. Cheryl originally was born and raised in Redwood City.

“Ryan started working in his father’s business, which is where he learned to run heavy equipment and tractors,” Cheryl said. “It’s also where he learned his strong work ethic. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Ryan went to work for another company, always hoping to one day start his own business. When the company he was working for closed down, it opened up new doors for Ryan. He had his own tractor business, and now a new opportunity became available to add to it.”

As his friend and neighbor, Cheryl became involved with the business and together they formed Pacific Crest.

“I had owned my current business for 33 years but was looking forward to new things, so I got my contractor’s license,” she said. “Ryan’s dream of his own business grew out of his desire to be able to spend more quality time with his family and someday passing it on to his son.”

Ryan loves the fact that they are a small family-owned business.

“We have 25 years of experience and we’re open for new ideas,” he said. “We love building a rapport with our clients and, in fact, many have become friends. We service Josephine and Jackson Counties but will always travel to other areas if needed. We look forward to helping people with all their projects big or small. We have a strong work ethic, and you will receive prompt and professional replies to your phone calls and questions. We will make sure your expectations are always met. Before we leave the job site, it will be finished and clean, all to your satisfaction.”
